Sufyaan Ath-Thauree loved acquiring knowledge and spreading it among his fellow men. He rendered great services to Islam and is respected for reviving those Ahadith of Prophet Muhammad which could have been long forgotten if he had not made any efforts to revive them. He was a humble and pious believer who shunned fame and glory for himself and always lived a humble life. His life is a great example of true services to Islam and Allah Almighty. He was a true scholar who practiced Sunnah all his life.

Sufyan As-Thauree was a scholar who illuminated the world with his knowledge and who revived certain aspects of the Prophet's Sunnah that would otherwise have been forgotten. He is a revered and noble scholar, a status he earned although he fled from all forms of fame and popularity throughout his life, which has been a good example of piety, purity, worship, righteousness. humbleness, fearfulness and repentance.
